Ito is an American comic book artist celebrated for his distinctive fusion of Eastern tradition and Western comic aesthetics.
Born in the U.S. and now based in Japan, he has garnered a global following for his Japanese-themed covers, which reimagine traditional characters through a bold, modern lens.
A self-taught illustrator, Ito began his career in 2018 as a freelance storyboard artist in Los Angeles, working on independent film projects before transitioning to comics.
Deeply influenced by ukiyo-e prints and contemporary graphic storytelling, his work is known for its dynamic compositions and meticulous design.
In 2024, his artistry gained further recognition through collaborations with Skybound Entertainment, where he contributed covers for titles like G.I. Joe and the American manga Ghost Pepper.
Since relocating to Japan, Ito has expanded into oil painting, watercolor, and mixed media, pushing the boundaries of comic book art and evolving a unique, cross-cultural visual language.
